Create aesthically softer artwork by rounding the corners.

Converting your corners to rounded corners can aesthetically enhance your artwork by making it appear smoother and softer. You could spend hours rounding each corner manually by meticulously adjusting the corner's handles and anchors. Fortunately, Adobe Illustrator provides an easier way to round your corners. By simply adding an effect to the artwork, you can convert every corner in the selected object to a specified radius.

Instructions

    • 1

      Select the "Selection" tool.

    • 2

Select the path to which you want to round the corners. Hold down the "Shift" key to select multiple paths.

    • 3

Click on the "Effect" menu. Hover over "Stylize" in the "Illustrator Effects" section, and select "Round Corners."

    • 4

Enter the desired radius in the "Round Corners" dialog box. Click on the "Preview" checkbox to see the effect of the rounded corners. Press "OK" when you are satisfied with the rounded corners. Every corner of the path will be converted to the specified radius.
