1
Choose an image online or from a magazine of the celebrity that you want to use to create a plush doll. Save the image to your computer as a .jpeg or .gif file. Scan the image into the computer with a scanner if you chose a picture from a magazine.
-
2
Open the image in a basic painting software program, such as Microsoft Paint, or a word processing program, such as Microsoft Word. You may need to copy the image, Ctrl + C, and paste it, Ctrl + V, into the program.

3
Place a sheet of iron-on paper in your printer. Print the image of the celebrity on the paper so that the image prints on the coated side of the paper. Cut around the image of the celebrity, if necessary.
-
4
Fold the piece of cotton fabric in half and place the iron-on paper on top of the fabric. Cut the fabric around the image leaving about a 1/2-inch border around the doll. Peel the image off the paper and stick it to the fabric.
-
5
Set the iron to its highest heat setting. Place the parchment paper on top of the image. Move the iron in back and forth motions over the image. Use both hands to apply pressure to the iron and continue for about three minutes. Allow the image to cool and set for about 20 minutes.
-
6
Set the stitch length regulator to 2 on the sewing machine. Set the stitch to a zigzag pattern to ensure a tight seam for the doll. Sew around the image along the border with a sewing machine, leaving a small gap for the cotton filling. Use a thread color that matches the color of the cotton fabric.
-
7
Fill the doll with cotton filling. Stuff it through the gap until it's completely full, keeping in mind that the cotton filling will settle over time.
-
8
Sew the gap closed and cut any loose threads to complete the doll.
