How to Unset the Hourly Chime on Mossimo Watches

If your watch's hourly chime is growing annoying, you can disable it.

Unlike the gentle hourly "gong" of an old grandfather clock, you may find the shrill chime of your Mossimo wristwatch distracting. Though the chime can be useful when used as an alarm or appointment reminder, hearing it every hour may be excessive. Many watches arrive with an hourly chime as a default option, and user adjustment is required to disable it. The four-button interface of Mossimo watches makes turning off your chime quick and simple.

Instructions

1. Position the watch so that the numbers on the LCD screen are upright and can be read from left to right.

2. Locate the four control buttons around the perimeter of the watch casing. There are typically two on each side: one on the upper part of the casing and one on the lower part.

3. Depress and hold the two lower buttons on each side of the casing until the LCD screen illuminates and a small bell icon blinks and then disappears. This signals that the chime has been disabled.

4. Perform Step 3 for the two top buttons if the two lower buttons have no effect. The combination of buttons required to disable the chime may vary among Mossimo models.
