Instructions

    • 1

Wrap the headband with Christmas colored ribbon. Cut the ribbon when you get to the end of the headband. Add a dab of hot glue to the end of the ribbon to secure it to the headband. Wrap another color of ribbon around the headband if desired.

    • 2

Twist a pipe cleaner around the center of the headband. Bend the pipe cleaner so it forms a hook shape and will hang over your forehead a little bit. Any color pipe cleaner can be used. Snip the pipe cleaner to make it shorter if you don't want it hanging down too low or if it needs to be adjusted for a small child.

    • 3

Secure a small sprig of fake mistletoe to the other end of the pipe cleaner. Adjust the pipe cleaner as needed so the mistletoe doesn't hang too far down. Since the pipe cleaner won't support too much weight, the mistletoe spring should be very small.

    • 4

Glue small jingle bells to your headband with a hot glue gun. Add a bell to the mistletoe itself, the pipe cleaner or dot the headband with jingle bells for a festive touch. Allow the glue to completely dry before wearing the headband.
