How to Make an Aerodynamic Paper Airplane
Making a paper airplane is a simple, fun rainy-day activity. The key to making an effective flyer is to make the plane as aerodynamic as possible so that it will glide farther and longer. You must make your plane as streamlined as possible yet give it enough wing space to allow it to glide properly. The paper dart airplane design creates a simple but high-performance paper flyer.

1
Fold a rectangular sheet of paper in half lengthwise.
-
2
Fold down one of the top corners so that it's level with the first fold, creating a nose for the airplane. Do the same on the other side.
-
-
3
Fold the pointed end edge down again and outward until it's level with the first fold. Repeat this on the other side. Your plane is now ready to fly.
-
4
Fold the pointed edge down to meet the original fold. Repeat this on the other side. Do this step if you want to reduce drag on the plane.
