How Do You Close the Cover on a Canon MP620?
The Canon MP620 all-in-one photo printer's platen glass scan area acts as a cover to some of the internal parts, including the print head and ink storage. You need to open the cover when you first set up your printer and anytime you need to change the ink. Unlike some printers that have a support arm you need to set yourself when opening the cover, the MP620 has an automatic arm-support system. This means closing the cover is slightly different than other printers.

2
Press down firmly on the cover until it closes with both hands. You may feel some resistance as your pressing down on the cover. Do not try to speed up the process of closing the cover or you may harm the arm that holds up the cover.
