Folding a Pocket Handkerchief for Tuxedos- ' One Corner Up Fold'

Set your iron temperature to a heat setting that is safe for the handkerchief's material. It is wise to check the manufacturer's recommendations.

Set the handkerchief on a flat, clean surface.

Iron the handkerchief until it is free from wrinkles and creases.

Lay the handkerchief in a position that resembles a diamond.

Hold the bottom corner and fold it up to the top corner. The handkerchief should now resemble a triangle.

Iron the triangle in place.

Hold the right corner of the triangle and fold it to meet top point. Again, iron the handkerchief to keep the fabric wrinkle-free and crisp.

Hold the left corner of the triangle and fold it to meet top point. Iron the handkerchief.

Take the bottom corner and fold it up half way. This will form the base that will be slipped into the jacket's pocket.

If necessary, iron the handkerchief again so the folds stay in place.

Tuck the handkerchief into the pocket and ensure that all points are lined up. Firmly press it against the tuxedo's breast pocket to ensure a neat and elegant look.
