How Can I See the Deoxys in the Wild in Emerald?

Deoxys is a legendary Pokemon introduced in the third generation of "Pokemon" video games. Deoxys is unique in that it can switch between four different forms, each of which includes both a different appearance and different stats. Like many other legendary Pokemon, Deoxys does not appear normally in the course of "Pokemon Emerald." To encounter and capture a wild Deoxys, you must travel to the special island where it makes its home.

• Aurora Ticket

Instructions

1. Travel to the harbor in Lilycove City.

2. Talk to the lady outside the S.S. Tidal to show her your Aurora Ticket. The ship will take you to Birth Island.

3. Walk up to the gray triangle in the middle of the island. The triangle will make a sound and warp to another part of the island.

4. Walk up to the triangle's new location using as few steps as possible. If you take a longer route to the triangle's new location, you will be forced to restart the puzzle.

5. Continue following the triangle until it disappears and the screen begins to shake. A wild Deoxys will engage you in a battle.

Tips & Warnings

• If you knock Deoxys out, you will not get another chance to capture it without reloading a previously saved game or starting a new one.
