How to Move a Transport Panel From Cubase
Steinberg Cubase is a software suite of audio production tools used in the creation of digital music. This software features virtual audio mixers, virtual instrument plug-ins, and a flexible interface. Part of this interface is the transport panel. This panel features several commonly used playback and recording controls, such as Play, Pause, Record, and Stop. The Cubase interface is customizable and you can move the transport panel if its location does not suit your needs.

Load the Steinberg Cubase software by clicking on its application icon. The program takes a few moments to load.

Locate the Transport Panel. If you cannot find the Transport Panel, it is hidden. You can hide/un-hide the Transport Panel by pressing the "F2" key on your keyboard.

Click on the top of the Transport Panel and drag it without releasing the mouse button. The Transport Panel is considered a floating panel, and can therefore be dragged and dropped anywhere within the Cubase software environment. Choose a location and release the mouse button to place the Transport Panel.

Tips & Warnings
Right-click on the Transport Panel to bring up an options menu. This menu will allow you to add or remove items from the Transport Panel. For example, you can use this to add a Virtual Keyboard and remove the Jog Wheel. Many customization options are available to you.
