How to Make Glass Cleaner With Rubbing Alcohol
You don't have to buy expensive glass cleaners for cleaning your windows and mirrors. Instead, save money and make your own environmentally friendly glass cleaning solution at home, using common household ingredients. While various glass-cleaning recipes are available, a cleaner made with rubbing alcohol has an additional benefit -- it dries faster, thus leaving fewer streaks on the glass. Does this Spark an idea?

Add 1 cup of water and 1 cup of rubbing alcohol to the spray bottle.

Add 1 tablespoon white distilled vinegar or clear, nonsudsing ammonia to the bottle. Sudsing ammonia includes a detergent additive, which can leave a film on your glass.

Put the sprayer lid back on the bottle, and gently shake the bottle to combine the ingredients.

Tips & Warnings
Never mix ammonia with bleach, as it creates a potentially lethal gas.
