How to Link Stuff on Facebook

Share your links on Facebook.

Facebook gives you the ability to share several types of information and media through your profile, such as photos, videos and status updates. You also can add links to direct your friends to websites. Many people use the feature to link to online articles or videos from YouTube or Hulu. After you add a link, the page's title appears along with the first paragraph or video on the website in your news feed.

Instructions

1. Log in to Facebook.

2. Click "Link" at the top of your news feed.

3. Enter the link you wish to share into the corresponding field.

4. Click "Attach."

5. Enter comments, if desired, into the "Say Something" text field.

6. Click the lock icon and choose who you wish to share the link with, such as "Everyone" or "Just Friends."

7. Click "Share."
