How to Install Lightroom Using the Upgrade
Adobe Lightroom is an add-on for Photoshop that includes tools for professional photographers. To install Adobe Photoshop Lightroom using the Upgrade software, you must have a previous version of Lighroom already installed. However, different versions of the Lightroom application may be installed side-by-side. For example, if you're upgrading from Lightroom 2 to Lightroom 3, Lightroom 3 won't wipe out your Lightroom 2 installation but will install in a Lightroom 3 directory and then add your old Lightroom catalog to the new installation.
