How to Select Autofill Text on iPad

The iPad's AutoFill settings can be accessed through the Settings application.

The AutoFill feature on Apple's iPad tablet device automatically fills out Web forms using your contact information and the usernames and passwords you have previously used on the device. In order to use this feature, you must first activate it, and select what information you want the iPad to use as the AutoFill text, a process that can be completed in a few simple steps.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Settings" icon on the iPad's home screen.

2. Tap the "Safari" option, followed by the "AutoFill" option.

3. Tap the slider next to the "Use Contact Info" option to slide it to the "ON" position.

4. Tap the "My Info" option, and tap the contact that contains the information you want to use as your AutoFill text. Now, whenever you fill out a Web form, the form will automatically be filled with the text from the contact you selected.
