How to Review Visitors on Facebook

Even the British Royals can check out who's using their page.

When you have a business page set up on Facebook, you may be interested in who exactly is coming to view your page, and what they're doing while they're there. Unlike a regular Facebook profile which is unable to track and review visitors, a Facebook business or fan page can use Facebook Insights to see the demographic of their visitors. You'll need to be the administrator of your Facebook page in order to see these demographics.

Instructions

    • 1

Go to Facebook.com/Insights and log in to your page administrator account by typing in your email address and password.

    • 2

Click on the page you want to view visitors for on the left hand side.

    • 3

Click "User Demographics." This will provide a report of the age, gender, city, and language of the visitors to your Facebook page. You'll only see the top 20 cities and countries though.

    • 4

Click "Interactions" to see what your visitors are responding to. You'll be able to see what they comment, on and what they like.

    • 5

Click "User Activity" to see what your visitors are clicking on when they visit your page. Are they looking at the new video you posted, or just going straight to your website?

Tips & Warnings

  • Review your data on a weekly basis, and make adjustments accordingly -- if your visitors are responding to videos, start putting more videos up.
