How to Prune a Mod Log in vBulletin
Every time that a moderator or administrator takes action on the front-end of your vBulletin site, vBulletin keeps a record of it in a moderator log. However, this does not apply to back-end actions taken through the control panel. On older and busier sites, the moderator log can take up a lot of space in the database. Pruning the log can increase your site's performance.

Tips & Warnings
By default, the only person who can prune the moderator log is the username that was created when installing vBulletin. You can change this in the config.php file.
