How to Confirm Canceling Facebook Advertising

Facebook's advertising management panel lets you create ads to run on the social networking site. Once an add has run its course, you'll want to either pause or cancel the ad. If you aren't sure if you've canceled an ad, you can simply log in to your account and check to see if the ad is marked as canceled or not. Once the ad is canceled, it will show up in your panel for seven days, in case you decide to reactivate it.

  Visit the Facebook Advertising site and sign in to your account. Click "Manage Existing Ads."

  Select "Campaigns and Ads." Click on "All Ads."

  Verify the ad in question has an red "X" next to it, under the "Status" column. This indicates the ad is canceled.
