How to Get the F Keys in Mac to Normal
Traditionally, the keys that line the top row of a given keyboard are referred to as "Function Keys." Function keys allow you to use shortcuts to perform a range of specified actions. On Macs, function keys are used to control various aspects of the computer, like screen brightness and volume control. If you would rather these keys respond as standard function keys, disable the assigned controls in System Preferences.
