How to Make a Grappling Hook in "RuneScape"
In the online role-playing game "RuneScape," players use grappling hooks to climb over walls, trees and large rocks. Known as "Mithril Grapple" in the game, a grappling hook is a player-made item created using the Fletching and Smithing skills. To use a Mithril Grapple, your character must wield the grapple and a crossbow and shoot the hook at the agility obstacle. Because Mithril is a high-level metal, players must have Level 59 Fletching and Smithing to forge a Mithril Grapple hook.

Travel to the Grand Exchange and purchase a Rope, one Mithril Bolt and a Mithril Bar. Withdraw a Hammer from your bank.

Walk south, past the Varrock West Bank, and enter the house that contains an Anvil.

Click a Mithril Bar in your inventory and choose an Anvil. A dialog box opens on your screen.

Select "Grapple Tip." Your character forges a Mithril Grapple Tip.

Click the Grapple Tip in your inventory and select the Mithril Bolt. Your character combines the items, resulting in a Mithril Grapple.

Click the Mithril Grapple in your inventory and select the Rope. The finished grapple is placed in your inventory and is ready for use.
