How to Clear the Temps on a MacBook
MacBook laptop computers may require the occasional clearing of the temperatures. All Intel-based Macintosh computers, including the MacBook, use a System Management Controller, to monitor and maintain different internal power-related settings. Among these settings are the speed of the internal fans, which control the internal temperatures of the MacBook. Sometimes the SMC does not operate properly, and must be reset. You can clear the temps and other power-related issues on a MacBook by resetting the SMC.
