How to Market Your Book for Kindle
Writing a Kindle e-book is only half the challenge. Unless you already have a dedicated following, such as regular blog readers or an extensive social network, you'll need to market the book to garner attention and earn sales. Amazon offers your e-book visibility to a buying public, but you shouldn't limit yourself solely to its platform. Instead, branch out and make your book known to a variety of Internet "locates," thus increasing your visibility and sales odds.

1
Create a website for your Kindle book with links to your Kindle page. Describe what your book is about, and provide excerpts for potential buyers to read. Consider writing a handful of SEO articles related to your ebook and publishing them on the website, which may increase the number of visitors your website receives.
-
2
Write articles for content farms related to your e-book's subject, and talk briefly about your e-book, describing what additional information if offers that readers will find beneficial. Link to your e-book if the content farm allows you to, otherwise link to your e-book's website in your author bio.

3
Become an active member of a forum related to your Kindle book, and provide the community with friendly, helpful information related to the subject. Link to the Kindle book in your forum signature if possible, with a brief description of your book. Post a link to the book in a community showcase thread if the forum offers it, which is a thread for posters to advertise their books and other goods.
-
4
Ask a book review website to review your Kindle book, focusing primarily on websites that deal with your type of content. For example, if the book is fiction, consult with fiction reviewing websites. If, on the other hand, the ebook is nonfiction related, find a reviewing website that specializes in nonfiction.

5
Offer free promotional copies, or a steep discount for a short period of time, which may entice otherwise hesitant buyers to make a purpose. Once your book has been read by a batch of individuals, it may be reviewed without your prompting, further increasing its visibility to other potential buyers.
