The main piece of the sectional has brackets, while the secondary pieces have posts on the ends. When setting up the La-Z-Boy it is necessary to identify the main piece of the sectional, before arranging the furniture and latching the sectional together.       Place the La-Z-Boy sectional in the room where you desire, leaving a one foot space between the pieces. The sectional has one piece with the latches, and the other piece has posts under the edge. Ensure the post side of the sectional is pointing toward the latch piece.

      Feel under the end of the main sectional for the latch brackets. Flip the latch brackets toward the outside of the sectional with your fingers. The latch brackets will extend beyond the edge of the sectional, and point away from the piece.

      Align the posts on the secondary sectional piece with the latches on the main sectional piece. Slide the secondary sectional until the posts lock into the latch brackets.

  • Lift up the end of the secondary sectional piece to unlock and separate the La-Z-Boy sectional.
