Instructions

    • 1

Wrap a piece of ribbon around the head of the person who will wear it. Tie the ends in a knot and trim so that they're very short. Remove the halo from the head.

    • 2

Cut strands of ribbon roughly 2 feet long. You will want a dozen or more strands.

    • 3

Tie the strands to the halo around the knot. Keep the strands within 3 inches of the knot on either side. You don't want them spread out too much.

    • 4

Curl a few of the ribbons with the scissors if you're using curling ribbon.

Tips & Warnings

  • Thin ribbon looks better than wide ribbon.

  • Use all one color or mix and match colors for a varied look.

  • Wear the halo with the ribbons hanging down the back.

  • If you want a sturdier halo, use a twisted hanger to form it.
