Things You'll Need
- Respirator
- Goggles
- Acid-resistant gloves
- Absorbent material
- Neutralizer
- Acid-resistant bags

Protect yourself immediately. Put on a respirator and protective goggles, as well as acid-resistant gloves.

Apply an absorbent material to the salicylic acid spill to contain it. Do not allow it to spread. Absorbent pads can be used.

Neutralize the acid using a commercial acid neutralizer product.
