How to Use a Red5 Streaming Server
The Red5 media server is used to stream audio and video files to computers running the Linux operating system. If you have recently installed the Red5 server on your computer, you can use it to view videos from any computer with an Internet connection. You don't have to be a computer genius to use your Red5 server. You can do it yourself with little hassle and minimal knowledge of the system.

Go to the computer running the Red5 server and click on the "IP Address" links in the Resources link. Make a note of the IP address.

Open a browser window on a different computer.

Type the IP address of the Red5 computer into the "URL" bar. Wait for the browser to display all of the media on the server.

Click on the media that you want to play.
