How to Mend a Snag on a Sweater

Even if the knit of your sweater snags, there is hope for a repair.

Delicate sweaters can easily be harmed by outside elements and accidents. Catching a stitch with a ring or hangnail can have catastrophic consequences for a sweater's knit. To prevent a snag from progressing in size and eventually ruining a treasured sweater, the best idea is for you to take action against the damage. Fortunately, with a bit of patience and a needle threader, your sweater can be back to normal in no time.

• Needle threader

Instructions

1. Begin by working from the inside of the sweater. With the needle threader in hand, locate the snag from the inside.

2. Push the threader through the hole or area where the snag is located.

3. Place the threads from the snag into the needle threader.

4. Pull the threader gently toward the inside of the sweater.
