How to Make Facebook Omicrons
An omicron is a letter from the Greek alphabet. It literally means "small O." Although Facebook does not offer a Greek alphabet plug-in or native Greek letters, you can still make an omicron on Facebook, because this Greek letter is written exactly the same way as its Latin twin, which has become the English lowercase o. Even though Greek letters are often used in math, avoid using the omicron in math discussions on Facebook, since it looks similar to a zero. But if you're trying to type an omicron for an intelligent discussion on ancient Greek, doing so is simple.

Tips & Warnings
Context is crucial to help the person with whom you're chatting know that you're typing an omicron. Omicrons are often used in the naming of stars and in Big O notation, which is used to classify functions in mathematics. Type an omicron when discussing these subjects.
