How to Remove Humidity From Smokeless Reloading Powder
Smokeless powder is a propellant used in modern firearm cartridges. Smokeless powder has a legal classification as a propellant, and you can thus store it in most jurisdictions without any restrictions. However, both heat and humidity can affect the burning rate and thus the reliability of smokeless powder. Fortunately, smokeless powder does not retain moisture well, so you can correct overexposure to humidity with proper storage. As with any other flammable material, keep safety in mind.

Find a cool, dry place to store the powder, away from open flame and sources of heat.

Open the container of powder, and allow it to sit in the dry air for three to four days. Smokeless powder does not retain moisture well and will expel any excess moisture.

Reseal the container of smokeless powder, and continue to store it in a cool, dry place for future use. A wooden cabinet is generally recommended. If desired, place a dehumidifier in the same room to regulate the humidity in the air.
