How to Get a Smooth and Even Complexion
Skin is an accessory that you always wear. No matter what you put on it in the form of makeup, the condition of the skin makes all the difference. The quest to get a smooth and even complexion can be a tricky one. Blemishes and sun spots mar an otherwise peaches-and-cream complexion. When treating the skin, take into account your skin type and products suitable for it. Work to treat the culprits of discoloration, and then create a smooth base and even out your skin with cosmetics. Does this Spark an idea?

Using moisturizer helps hydrate the skin. Apply a moisturizer containing alpha-hydroxy acids to your face before bed. The alpha-hydroxy acids are helpful for evening out a complexion by fading red or brown marks, preventing acne and smoothing out rough skin. If your skin is sensitive, start out using it every other evening.

Pat a pea-sized amount of tinted moisturizer onto your skin. Use your fingertips and tap it into the pores. Sweep the rest across the skin in long, smooth strokes.
-
4
Use a concealer brush to apply concealer. Dip a concealer brush into concealer, and brush onto any marks or blemishes. Dab it on with the end of the brush, and blend it with the brush or a finger.

5
Dust translucent powder all over your face using a fluffy powder brush. Dip the brush into the powder container, tap the brush against the edge of the container and dust on the skin. This will not add color, but will even out the appearance of facial skin.
