How to Get to the Frontier Brains in "Pokemon SoulSilver"
Although the main goal in "Pokemon SoulSilver" is to defeat the Elite Four and become the champion of the Pokemon League, many places in the game's world are only open to explore after this goal is accomplished. One such place is the Battle Frontier, an area containing five dueling arenas. Each arena holds an expert trainer known as a Frontier Brain, who will challenge you after you win several battles in a row.

Tips & Warnings
Each arena has different rules of battle. In the Battle Arcade, you will play a small mini-game before each battle that might make the battle more or less difficult. In the Battle Castle, each successful battle yields points that can be used to rent items and heal your Pokemon. In the Battle Hall, you get to choose which type of Pokemon you will battle.
If you choose to battle with a Pokemon over level 50 in the Battle Frontier, the game will temporarily adjust that Pokemon's level down to level 50. Once you leave the arena, the game will restore that Pokemon to its original level.
Some Pokemon are banned from use in the Battle Frontier. Most of the banned Pokemon are legendary Pokemon with extraordinary power, such as Mewtwo or Arceus.
