How to Do a Closer on a Quick Weave
Quick weaves are homemade wigs that a person shapes around her own head. They are an inexpensive, relatively easy way to custom-build a wig that suits your style and fits you perfectly. Put on a weave cap, and glue strips of hair, called tracks, onto it from the outside to the inside. When you have glued most of the tracks onto the weave cap, you will have a small, circular area of cap left empty at the crown of your head. To fill it invisibly, create a quick weave closure. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Apply bonding glue to the underside of a 2-inch-wide track. Lay the track hair-side down on a table, and roll it into a cylinder so the hair extends in one direction and you have a flat circular surface on the other side. Allow the glue to dry.
-
2
Hold the cylinder flat-end down. Fan out the hair on the other end so it extends evenly in all directions. Press the hair open like this with a flat iron.

-
3
Glue the flat end of the cylinder into the circular gap in your weave. Press it into place with your fingers for 10 seconds.
-
4
Part and style your completed weave with a comb.
