1
Wash your hair with an anti-static shampoo. However, if your hair is dry or damaged, shampoo it only two or three times per week. Shampoo dries out the hair.
-
2
Use a silicone-based or leave-in conditioner on your hair daily. Dry hair tends to cause flyaways. Adding moisture to your hair can prevent flyaways.
-
-
3
Brush your hair with a natural-bristle brush. Massage your scalp to increase the distribution of natural oils.
-
4
Style your hair using ionic hair appliances. Ionic heating tools give your hair a negative charge. Flyways happen when your hair receives a positive charge, resulting in static electricity.

5
Boil a mug of water. Place 2-teaspoons of dried rosemary into the boiling water. Allow the water to cool for a few hours. Remove the rosemary from the water then pour the water into a spray bottle. Apply the rosemary water to dry hair. The rosemary water is a natural hairspray that will keep down flyaways.

6
Finish your style with a hair serum. Apply a pea-sized amount to the palm of your hand. Rub your hands together and coat your hair with serum to moisturize and hold down your hair.
