"Empire at War" is a game based on the popular Star Wars franchise.

"Empire at War" is a game manufactured by LucasArts, as a spin-off of the lucrative Star Wars series. It allows you to take control of your own squadron of soldiers and launch military campaigns on a series of battlefields. Yet, when you have competed on all of the battlefields, the novelty can quickly wear off -- meaning the map editor can be a tool to keep the game fresh, assuming it is working.

Instructions

    • 1

Download the editor from an official LucasArts website or a reputable third-party site, otherwise the problems you are suffering could be due to a corrupted file.

    • 2

Re-install the program in order to fix any problems which were caused during the previous installation. Often problems with programs are caused due to corruptions during the installations. Restart your machine before attempting to use the program again.

    • 3

Ensure your version of "Empire at War" is compatible with this particular editing program. Only the "Empire at War" that comes with the "Gold Package" -- containing "Empire at War" and "Forces of Corruption" -- will work with the editor. This means if you have bought the game as part of the "Best of PC" compilation then it will not work.
