1
Place a large sheet of craft paper on the floor. The paper should be longer than the height of your ceiling.
-
2
Arrange your photos on the paper. If you intend to enlarge some photos, make a photocopy at the right size as you figure out your frame sizes. Organize your photos in the arrangement you want, and select your frames and sizes. Allow for 1 inch between frames on the top, bottom and inside sides. Keep your frame style consistent.

3
Draw out your frame sizes on the paper. Frames will be attached to each other using screw eyes and hooks. This creates a 1-inch margin between frames. Every frame needs to attach to the frame above it with two screw hooks. The top frames will attach by chain to the ceiling screw eyes. The sides of the frames are connected with screw eyes and screw hooks to keep them evenly spaced.

Purchase your frames, and install your photos in the frame. Use your paper guide to lay out all of your frames. Mark the locations of screw eyes on the bottom of one frame and the top of another. Mark all of your locations. Drill pilot holes at your marks. Screw eyes into the holes on the bottom of the frames and hooks into the holes on the top of the frames. Install eyes on the top of your top frame different from your other frames since your top one connects to the ceiling.
-
5
Attach your frames together by hooking the top of one frame into the bottom of another. Drill and install hooks and eyes on the inside sides of the frames to connect them horizontally for stability.
-
6
Screw large screw eyes into the ceiling joist above the divider position. Use S-hooks to connect a chain from the ceiling screw eye to the top of the divider. Cut the chains to length using wire cutters.

Tips & Warnings
You can double this project by placing frames back to back. Mix children's artwork, photos and art together for an attractive display. Use jump rings to connect the frames together at the screw eyes. The ceiling screw eyes should be rated for the total weight of the divider.
