How Do You Beat the Golden Egg Level in the "Angry Birds" Game?

Unlock special levels in "Angry Birds."

Golden Eggs are bonus levels in "Angry Birds," the best-selling game app for smartphones and other mobile devices. You unlock the levels by collecting golden eggs throughout the game. Each Golden Egg level is different: Some are simple chain reactions, some are puzzles and others are similar to regular level play. As you win each Golden Egg level, you will earn golden stars that add to your game score and standing in online game center play.

Instructions

1. Beat the first Golden Egg level by hitting the TNT crate with a cardinal to set off a chain reaction. In the second Golden Egg, shoot a blue bird, tapping to multiply as it enters the box. They will bounce around until all the pigs are popped. Golden Egg No. 3 requires you to shoot one blue bird and tap to multiply at the entry point of the box. The beach balls should eventually pop every pig.

2. Beat the fourth Golden Egg level by solving the puzzle. Tap the group of birds, the slingshot, a TNT crate, the white bird and finally the king pig. For the fifth Golden Egg, aim a cardinal at the first TNT crate. It will continue to roll through the piles of pigs, setting off the rest of the TNT. Beat Golden Egg No. 6 by aiming the cardinal for the hill across the pigs. It will roll down into the pig pit, and the chain reaction will cause them to all fall and pop.

3. Push down any two buttons on the "Angry Radio" in the seventh Golden Egg. In Golden Egg No. 8, set off the three TNT crates with the cardinal, and the chain reaction will do the rest. In Golden Egg No. 9, aim the triangle bird near the bottom of the pig pyramid.

4. Get the yellow balloon hanging under the right side of the platform with a boomerang bird in Golden Egg No. 10. You win Golden Egg No. 11 by shooting the triangle bird up in a high arc, then tapping it down to bounce off the balloon bottom, causing a chain reaction. Golden Egg No. 12 is "Angry Piano." Tap the blue bird, cardinal, second bomb from the left, blue bird and finally the boomerang bird to win.

5. Aim the cardinal for the top TNT crate to set off a chain reaction in Golden Egg No. 13. In Golden Egg No. 14, aim Big Brother at the middle beam of the first tower to set off a chain reaction. In Golden Egg No. 15, you have to aim Big Brother toward the concrete blocks to dismantle the pig's house.

6. Slingshot Big Brother toward the vertical ice board located second from the bottom of the first tower in Golden Egg No. 16. In Golden Egg No. 17, tap the pigs into place by working from left to right in the top row, right to left in the middle row, and left to right on the bottom row. Then drag Big Brother to the left, then to the right. In Golden Egg No. 18, aim the triangle bird at the top boxes. Roll the first bomb bird into the bottom part. Finish by aiming the second bomb bird into the last remaining concrete box.

7. Aim the bomb birds toward the middle of the concrete tower in Golden Egg No. 19. Shoot the last one or two high so they drop into the middle. In Golden Egg 20, aim the first bomb bird toward the bottom of the first tower. Shoot the second toward the triangle block in front of the train. Finish it off by aiming a third bomb high so it lands near the middle. Golden Egg No. 21 is "Angry Accordion." Push the right side in and pull back. Press the middle white button, bottom white button, bottom black button, middle white button, top black button and finally the top white button.

8. Defeat Golden Egg No. 22, the "Angry Birds Rio" Golden Football Egg, by shooting three bomb birds -- the first to the ice, the second through the stone and the third through the wood. In Golden Egg 23, aim the bomb bird so it flies all the way across the train. Shoot the next bomb toward the middle, and the last to the closest pig. You can beat Golden Egg No. 24 by aiming the triangle bird up toward the hidden wires the pigs are hanging from. The arc will cut all three, causing a chain reaction.

Tips & Warnings

• The Golden Eggs are hidden in tricky ways in "Angry Birds" themes and levels. Keep an eye out for treasure chests, balloons, beach balls and other objects that are not common. Zoom out for a wide shot of the screen in levels with cliffs and you may see one perched on top. Golden eggs are hidden in the main menus and credits, as well, so poke around until you find them all. There also are eggs that you can only get by getting three stars on all levels.
