How to Cut a Sprite Sheet
Sprites are the character or object models you see in many older video games, 2-D games and Flash games. Sprite sheets are a collection of sprites, or small character images, used when creating video games. Sprite sheets often have complete sets of the character doing a specific action. For example, a sprite sheet could contain all the individual pictures that add up to the animation of a character jumping. Once you've cut your sprite sheets into individual images, you're ready to enter them into a game making or animation program to blend them all together.
