How to Get High Levels in "Zombies" on the First Strike
"Call of Duty: Black Ops" is a first-person shooter game. Activision, the makers of "Call of Duty: Black Ops," released "First Strike," a downloadable content pack with several new maps for multi-player mode, and a new "Zombies" map called "Ascension." In this map, you and up to three other players kill an unending swarm of zombies in a rocket launch base. The higher the level you get to, the stronger and faster the zombies will be. To get to high levels, you will need to turn the power on, purchase perks and earn power-ups.

1
Earn points to unlock doors, clear debris and purchase guns and ammo. To earn the highest amount of points, stab zombies instead of shooting them for at least the first three rounds. Stabbing will earn you many more points than shooting alone. Once you are too overwhelmed to continue stabbing, purchase a gun on the wall.

2
Clear the debris leading upstairs, then unlock the first door on the left. Follow the arrows to the next door and unlock it, then continue following the arrows until you find the power switch. Activate the power switch to turn on the power.

3
Earn power-ups by killing multiple zombies at once. Run away from the zombies, then shoot them from a distance. Claim a power-up by walking into it once it has been dropped by a zombie. Power-ups greatly increase your chances of survival.
-
4
Purchase perks from the various cola machines around the map. Perks can be expensive, but they are worth it in the long run. One such perk, Deadshot Daiquiri, will make it so that you automatically aim at a zombie's head when you aim down the sights of your gun.
-
5
Purchase guns from the mystery box when you find it. The best guns you can get in "Zombies" are only available in the mystery box.
-
6
Stay with your teammates. The more teammates you have around, the higher your chances are of being revived when you are "downed" by a zombie. Revive other players when you have a chance.
-
7
Leave a "crawler" at the end of each round to give yourself time to rebuild barriers and purchase guns and ammo. Wait until the last zombie of a round is left, then throw a grenade toward it to blow its legs off. This will make it very easy to avoid, and the next round will not begin until you kill the crawler.
