Instructions

    • 1

Fold several paper towels in half. Place the stack of paper towels on a level surface. Turn the jersey inside out. Lay the nail polish stain facedown on the paper towels.

    • 2

Pour acetone nail polish remover into a dish. Saturate the tip of a cotton swab in the acetone.

    • 3

Rub the back of the purple nail polish stain with the saturated cotton swab gently in a circular motion. Lift the jersey off the paper towels as the stain transfers to them, and discard the paper towels.

    • 4

Repeat these steps until you have removed all traces of the purple nail polish. Rinse the acetone from the jersey by holding the area under cool, running water.

    • 5

Launder the jersey as you normally would.

Tips & Warnings

  • Refrain from using acetone on fabrics containing acetate or triacetate. The acetone will damage and dissolve these fabrics.
