How to Make French Manicure Stickers
French-tipped nails are a statement of elegance and sophistication. Unfortunately, they are also expensive: french tip services can cost anywhere from $40 upwards. With a bit of knowledge on how to create your own guides, you can create the same class and sophistication yourself -- for no more than a few dollars. Does this Spark an idea?

Locate a clean, flat surface on a table where you will have room to work.

Place one sticky note on your clean surface. Make sure the sticky side is down and fastened to the table.

Put the tip of your nail clippers on top of the sticky note. Make sure to have the curved section near the top end of the sticky section. The idea is to give yourself as much of the sticky end to work with as possible.

Trace the curve of the nail cutters with your pencil on your sticky note. Extend the ends of your lines as needed in order to accommodate the size of your nails. For your thumb, you should extend the end lines out more than you would with your baby finger.

Repeat steps 2 through 4 until you have one sticky note for each nail.

Cut the lines you have traced on the sticky notes, leaving you with sticky notes that have curved tips.

Place a sticky note on your finger making sure to place the curved area where you would like the bottom of your tipped arch to be.

Paint your fingers and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
To make working with the sticky notes easier, think about cutting them into smaller sections before using.
Be creative with the french tip design. Mix up the pattern by painting the nail with different colors. You can also change up the class by painting designs or adding stickers onto the clear section of the nail.
You can use other types of stickers to create these guides but make sure to be aware of how much adhesive is on the back of the sticker. Some stickers leave a residue that will be difficult to remove from the nail without damaging the existing polish.
