How to Exit Out of Facebook Verification
Exit Facebook verification successfully to begin using your account again after Facebook prompts you to verify it. Facebook asks you to verify your account if you access it from a strange computer IP address -- for instance, when you travel abroad. Avoid clicking links in unsolicited emails you receive asking you to verify your Facebook account. Facebook only asks you to verify your account when you attempt to log in on the site.

1
Attempt to log in to Facebook as usual. If you need to verify your account to continue using it, a message that says "Please Review Recent Activity on Your Account" screen appears. Click "Continue."
-
2
Identify Facebook friends tagged in the series of five pictures that displays. Click the name of each friend, and then choose "Continue." Select "Finish" after you complete the process and wait for the results.

3
Review the activity for which Facebook placed the "roadblock" on your account and confirm or deny whether you had knowledge of it. If someone else was accessing your account from a different IP address, Facebook needs to know so the appropriate officials can track him down.

Click the "Restore Account" button to restore access to your account. Click the "Facebook" link in the upper-left corner of the screen to return to your Facebook profile.

Tips & Warnings
Do not click any link in any email message that asks you to verify your Facebook account at the risk of imperiling your security. Doing so takes you to an external site that prompts you for your personal information -- and, in some instances, your Facebook account credentials. Facebook never requests this information from you.
