How to Get to the Blending Mode in CS5

Photoshop CS5, like earlier versions of Photoshop, has a blending feature that you can use to combine two or more pictures together. Blending mode allows you to create different effects for your pictures. Adobe included 29 different blending mode options, all of which produce different effects when used. Experiment with each of the blend mode options to find the effects that serve your project.
