How to Design Stuff on Your Photos From Facebook

You can edit your Facebook photos directly on the Web using Picnik, a free photo-editing service that imports your photos from Facebook into an online image editor. You can place decorations on a photo and apply different photographic effects. With Picnik, you can edit one, some or all of your photos and then send the retouched pictures to a Facebook album of your choosing. You don't need an account to use Picnik -- just connect your Facebook account to start editing photos.

      Browse to Picnik.com and click the "Facebook" logo below the "Click to grab your photos from where you store them" heading. On the next page, click the "Connect" button. If you are not already logged in to Facebook, you'll be prompted to sign in to your account.

      Double-click the picture that you want to edit. Alternatively, you can switch Facebook photo albums by clicking the "Album" drop-down menu in the upper right portion of the page and then choosing the album you want to load.

      Click the "Create" tab at the top of the Picnik image editor. Across the top, below the tabs bar, you'll find a list of different image decorations, including Featured, Effects, Text, Stickers and Frames. Click a decoration tab to load its items on the left sidebar.

      Click the decoration or effect item to expand it and browse its available options, features and settings. Make the adjustments to the image with these choices. If you don't like a decoration or effect, click the "Cancel" button; otherwise, click "Apply."

      Go to the "Save & Share" tab. Edit the caption, then select the album and click the "Save Photo" button. Picnik will upload the edited picture to your Facebook photo album. It will immediately appear on your Facebook wall and your friends' news feeds.
