How to Get the MIRV RPG in "Fallout 3"
In "Fallout 3," the Experimental MIRV is the deadliest weapon known to man, giving you the ability to fire eight Mini Nukes at once. A single Mini Nuke can destroy most smaller enemies, and eight of them together can devastate an entire town. This kind of power is not freely available, though. To get the Experimental MIRV, you need to track down four audio tapes. Each tape contains one number of a password that, when complete, opens the locked door in the National Guard Depot bunker. Once inside the bunker, the powerful weapon is yours to take.

Head to Hamilton's Hideaway and walk northeast to reach Hallowed Moors Cemetery. Equip a powerful gun and take out the Super Mutants that run toward you. After you kill all the enemies, go inside the chapel. Turn to the left to see Tina's Tape on the altar. Pick it up.

Travel to the Temple of the Union. Walk north until you get to Grisly Diner. Enter the Grisly Diner and walk to the storeroom in the back. Kill any raiders in the storeroom. Grab Candace's Tape from the top of the desk.

Go to Jalbert Brothers Scrapyard and walk north toward Rockbreaker's Last Gas. Look around for an Abandoned Shack on top of a hill. Once inside the shack, take Dad's Tape from the workbench.

Travel to the Tepid Sewers. Follow the road north past the Anchorage Memorial. Continue walking until you reach a tent. Kill the Super Mutant and his pet Centaurs. Enter the tent and take Ralph's Tape.

Go to the Friendship neighborhood in north Downtown D.C. Enter the National Guard Depot and go through the Training Wing door.

Go through the next door in the Training Wing. This door takes you to the Depot Offices. Flip the switch in this room to open a secret door. Jump to the level below you and enter the door marked with the flashing light.

Interact with the terminal inside the armory to enter the numbers from the password you collected. Your character enters the numbers automatically. Kill the Glowing One inside the bunker. Take the Experimental MIRV from the desk.
