How to Shave Your Leg Hair Without It Growing Back as Fast
Bikini season is an invitation to show off your legs, but doing so usually means you'll have to shave them every couple of days. Shaving can be a hassle and there are alternatives, but they aren't for everyone. If waxing is too painful and electrolysis is too expensive, shaving may be your only option. This doesn't mean that you can't help slow down your leg hair's growth so that shaving doesn't have to be a constant chore. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Shave your legs when they are wet, not dry. Dry shaving may save you some time if you're in a hurry, but warm water opens up your pores for a closer shave. Dry shaving can also lead to scaly patches and chaffing.

2
Shave your legs with the grain rather than against it. In other words, shave down your leg rather than up it. Going with the natural grain of your leg hair will make the hair grow back in more slowly, allowing you to shave less frequently. The less you shave, the less you're susceptible to ingrown hairs.

3
Moisturize your legs after shaving. This will help your legs stay smooth and prevent the hair from growing back as quickly as it normally would.

Use a razor with at least three blades. One- and two-blade razors tend not to give you as close a shave as a razor with three or four blades. Razors with more blades cost a bit more, but they will keep you from having to shave as often.
