How to Moisturize a Fresh Afro
The afro is a hairstyle that is popular among people with thick and coarse hair, and is especially worn by people of African descent although people of other ethnicities also occasionally wear afros. The afro is created by combing your hair away from the scalp and allowing it to take on the shape similar to a rounded halo. Because the afro tends to be very dry, it's necessary to moisturize it as often as possible. Does this Spark an idea?

Use oil products on your fresh afro to keep it from becoming too dry and brittle over time. When looking for oil products in the beauty supply store, purchase items such as coconut oil, jojoba oil or olive oil-based hair moisturizer.
-
2
Apply scalp grease to your hair once a week. To grease your scalp, part your afro into four sections and rub the grease around the edges, roots and ends of the afro. Look specifically for scalp grease that has natural oils in it such as tea tree oil.
