Brew a cup of coffee, using four teaspoons of coffee grounds to make one cup. Pour the coffee into a small bowl or dish. Wait for the coffee to cool to room temperature.

Invert the wig so that the lace cap appears on the outside. Secure all of the wig hair with a clamp or elastic band.

Dip the lace cap into the bowl of coffee. Allow the lace to soak in the coffee for about 10 minutes.

Remove the lace wig from the coffee. Dry the lace cap with a hair dryer. This causes the coffee stain to set on the lace. Do not rinse the the wig before drying.

Rinse the wig in cold water to remove the excess coffee.
