How to Get Side Bangs With Cowlicks
A cowlick can determine which way your hair flows on your head. Therefore, this should be a consideration when cutting side bangs as the cowlick will naturally determine the direction of the bangs. However, the process of cutting the side bangs is the same for those with a cowlick as it is those without a cowlick. Determine the direction of the cowlick. Take note of the direction in which the hair of the cowlick flows. The direction of the bangs will flow to the side that the cowlick flows.

Wet the hair on the front of your head that will be included in the side bangs with water.

Part the hair to be used for bangs from the rest of the hair on you head. Create a triangular part with the point at the center of your head and the sides extending to the sides of your forehead.

Comb the hair tight and straight in the opposite direction from which you wish the side bangs to flow.

Cut a horizontal line at the length you wish the bangs to sit with the scissors. Typically, the cut is made near the same level as the eyebrows. Cutting the hair at this angle with give the hair the correct side-swept angle to shape the face when brushed in the opposite direction.

Comb the hair to the direction in which you wish the bangs to sit. This should be the direction that the cowlick naturally flows.

Blow dry and style the hair as desired.
