How to Improve Aiming Accuracy in "COD"
Accuracy in "Call of Duty" (COD) is one of the most important skills, since the object of game is to kill other characters using rifles, shotguns, handguns and other ballistic weapons. There are several ways to improve your accuracy without using aim bots that can get your Xbox Live account banned.

Steady your hand by resting your controller on your thighs while you play.

Pull the left trigger before pulling the right trigger to shooting. This will activate the game's auto-aim abilities, giving you a much better chance of hitting your target.

Use the perk "Steady Aim" when setting up your character. Find this perk in the Create-a-Character menu under the heading "Perks."

Tips & Warnings
Aim for the chest. It is a larger target, therefore easier to hit.
Avoid any mods that claim to increase your accuracy. These can get your account banned from Xbox Live.
