Include protein rich food in each meal. A protein-rich diet helps your body make stronger, thicker hair. Proteins help your hair by strengthening the hair follicle. Some excellent sources of protein are: milk, eggs, cheese, yogurt, peanut butter, and lean meats. Other foods high in proteins are beans, tofu, lentils, grains and leafy vegetables.

Eat plenty of dark green vegetables like broccoli, spinach and Swiss chard. This is a smart way to build vitamin A and C, which help create sebum. Sebum is an oily, waxy substance in your hair that acts like natural conditioner.

Relax with a soothing oil massage. Massage coconut or olive oil unto your hair twice a week. This increases blood circulation and gives you stronger roots and faster hair growth. It keeps your hair well-moisturized, too. You can also rub a few drops of coconut oil on wet hair to give it a thick look.

Tips & Warnings
Use a comb with wide teeth on wet hair instead of a hair brush. It makes it easier to remove tangles, and you have less chances of hair breakage.
Massage your scalp to increase blood circulation.
Wash hair with cold tepid water, not hot water, for thicker stronger hair growth.
Wear a cap while swimming to minimize the impact of chlorine.
Stay away from hair coloring and heat styling products since the harsh chemicals might destroy or damage your hair.
Don't abuse your hair with too much blow-drying; it can cause dandruff and weak hair.
Cut back on excess caffeine and smoking; it slows down your hair growth.
