How to Make Amends With a Guy
Making up with a guy after a nasty breakup or heartbreaking betrayal is no small task. If you want this person to be a part of your life, you will need to put some effort into showing him that you have changed and are taking responsibility for your actions. Making amends takes time and commitment, as it might be several weeks or months before a guy you've wronged is ready to let you back in as a friend. Making amends is not always possible, but you can give it your best shot.

1
Take an objective look at your actions and try to understand how the guy feels. You cannot properly make amends until you have an idea of where your friend is coming from and why he feels the way he does.
-
2
Own up to your mistakes. Don't try to cast blame on other people or circumstances. If you did something wrong, recognize your failure and admit it honestly.
-
-
3
Apologize to him for what you did. Saying you are sorry shows you feel bad about your actions and is sometimes enough to repair a relationship all by itself.
-
4
Be honest about how you feel and why you want to preserve your relationship. It is the guy's call whether he wants to forgive you, but helping him see why he is so important to you makes the gravity of this decision more obvious.
-
5
Forgive and forget. If your guy is able to get over the past, you should be able to as well. Do not bring up old arguments or insults once you have gotten the relationship back on solid ground.
