Instructions

    • 1

Measure the height of the cork board paneling that is installed on your walls. Run a tape measure from the top of the cork board to the bottom and record the measurement. This will determine how tall the trim will need to be to hide the seams.

    • 2

Lay out the thin 1/2-inch trim on a flat surface and cut it to the proper height with a hand saw. Mark the desired cut location with a pencil. Grip the 1/2-inch cork trim in your non-dominant hand and hold the saw in your dominant hand.

    • 3

Move the saw back and forth over the trim until a complete cut has been made. Repeat the process for all of the other trim pieces that need to be cut, based on the number of seams on the cork board-covered wall.

    • 4

Line the first piece of 1/2-inch cork trim up the the seam. Press it firmly into place and secure it to the wall with 1-inch brad nails. Hammer in a nail every 8 inches beginning at the top. Insert the nails from the top to the bottom to secure the trim in place.

    • 5

Line up the second piece of trim at the second seam and install it in the same manner. Continue along the wall until trim has been installed between all the pieces of paneling. Verify it matches and is secure to the wall with nails.
